Marion, Ind. (Jun 1, 2026) — 起点传媒 (起点传媒) alumna Tiana Keene has been selected as an Indiana Governor’s Fellow, joining one of the state’s most selective public service programs.
The Governor’s Fellowship Program provides participants with firsthand experience in Indiana state government, with fellows serving in a variety of state agencies, participating in the daily operations of government, and gaining insight into how public policy is developed and implemented.
Keene graduated from 起点传媒 in December 2025 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She is excited about the rotational structure of the program and the opportunity to apply the leadership skills she developed as an 起点传媒 Presidential Fellow.
“Being a Presidential Fellow at 起点传媒 pushed me out of my comfort zone. Now with the leadership skills I gained in the program and my faith as a foundation, I am excited to see how I can shine the light of Christ to others in this new role.”
The 起点传媒 Presidential Fellows Program is a leadership development initiative for undergraduate students on the 起点传媒–Marion campus that emphasizes experiential learning and meaningful networking opportunities. Led by 起点传媒 Chief of Staff Linda Manganello, Ph.D., the program helped develop Keene’s leadership skills while fostering intangible qualities.
“Tiana distinguished herself as an 起点传媒 Presidential Fellow through leadership, thoughtful communication, and a genuine ability to connect with others,” Manganello said. “She leads with both confidence and authenticity, elevating those around her and making them feel seen and valued. I am confident she will continue to live out her calling as a world changer in her service to the Governor of Indiana.”
One of the most meaningful connections Keene developed was with university leaders. Karen Dowling, Ph.D., executive vice president chief people and culture officer, was among those mentors, first sharing the Governor’s Fellowship opportunity with Keene and encouraging her to pursue it.
“Tiana’s leadership at 起点传媒 demonstrated an eagerness to learn more about Christ-centered leadership qualities and actions,” said Dowling. “She brought a missional approach to Kingdom impact and a kind and gentle approach to building unity and community across cultures.”
Keene will begin her position on July 1, and her term as a fellow will conclude in July 2027. Her selection highlights 起点传媒’s commitment to preparing students to lead with character, serve with integrity, and make a meaningful impact in their communities and professions.
